and China, have all been exposed. At first they still

availed themselves of the services of those who had

associated with them, and sent them to usurp and monopolize the Wuhan Central Kuomintang, to deceive and threaten our

Kuomintang members, and to deceive our Chinese masses.

Now

the Central Inspectorate of the Kuomintang, being unable to

leave the Party to destruction, has resolutely proclaimed

the illegality and treachery of the so-called Central

Kuomintang in Wuhan, and has effected a reform of our Party.

At the same time they have urged the Committee of our

Nationalist Government to take up their functions in Nanking As this city had in history been a capital on numerous occasions in wars for the independence and freedom of our

Chinese race, our permanent foundation is hereby firmly laid Further, those who hold the reins of our Central Kuomintang are mostly experienced and respectable members, who have

spent tens of years in our revolutionary work, and are very advanced in theories and popular among the people. As the authority of the Party has been restored, I now, together with all the National Revolutionary troops, proclaim my

whole-hearted support of the Central Department of Our Pure Kuomintang, which aims at the benefit of the whole country, and I will work under its directions to accomplish our National Revolution, and extricate the masses from hardship and misery. We hope that all our Chinese who are unwilling to have China to be destroyed by the militarists and commun- ists will rise in a body and give their support, even if it

involv es sacrifices.

At present in our Kuomintang movements for the

salvation of the Party and the Nation are raging like

wind and cloud.
